Virtual American Art Tour

Enjoy a live two-hour virtual tour of American Art from the Smithsonian American Art Museum collection. You will begin your tour at the start of the 1700’s American Colonial Art and work your way up into the beginning of the 20th Century. We will view top examples of Hudson River School Art, Realism, American Impressionism, American Golden Era, and artfully ending at the beginnings of Modern American Art. This tour includes famous fan-favorite artists such as John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, Thomas Moran, George Catlin, Benjamin West, John La Farge, Frederic Edwin Church, and many others.
